Undercover Kindness
Think of a kindness ninja. Stealth, effective and awesome. That has been an approach I’ve been striving for the past year. Undercover kindness. It does something to our brains and mindset that goes beyond our standard issued kindness. What is it? It’s spreading kindness and doing good things for other humans without the recipient even knowing whose responsible. When we rock out undercover kindness it removes any potential distraction for expectations to receive anything in return. It’s no strings attached. This strategy allows us to begin becoming ninja like is scoping out ways and people to spread kindness in the most amazing of ways.

The pursuit of being a kindness ninja
What are some ways to spread kindness without the recipient knowing whose responsible? Well, here are a few ideas: pay for the person’s coffee behind you in the drive-thru line, pick up a fallen trash can on your neighborhood walk, leave an encouraging note on a mailbox of a neighbor going through a tough time, send an encouraging postcard without leaving your name. There are truly a bazillion ways to be a kindness ninja. The neat reality is that when we begin these practices our minds begin to get stimulated in generating ways to be kind without detection. It’s really cool.
In a time of tremendous stress and unknown the pursuit of being a kindness ninja has a million benefits. We need more kindness in the world more than ever. The power of a smile, a wave and implementing a four letter word that has the ability to impact hearts and minds. It is a domino effect. We can be that first domino and that’s an awesome reality.

When we pass kindness onto others, there will continue to be positives. It has an emotional domino effect.
There are things we can change and things we cannot. We can choose every single day to pursue a life brimming with kindness. It will fill your life and bring richness beyond comprehension.
